Newport-Mesa Unified School District is continuing the planning process for expanding early learning programs. For the 2022-23 school year, Transitional Kindergarten (TK) will be offered at schools that have an enrollment of at least 10 students. If a school has less than 10 students enrolled in TK, those students will be offered a TK program at another elementary school within their school zone. Students who turn age 5 between September 2, 2022 and February 2, 2023 are eligible to attend TK. Please see chart below for early learning opportunities for the 2022-23 school year.
