As you know, in addition to the graduation broadcasts in June, each high school made tentative plans to celebrate graduates with an in-person summer event on campus contingent upon the health conditions and safety requirements at the time. We had hoped that conditions by summer would improve for these in-person events to safely occur. However, due to the continued State and County requirements to avoid gathering in groups and the significant rise of COVID-19 cases within our county, the in-person events planned for the summer must be postponed until November. Each high school will provide details of their in-person event to the graduates, which will again be contingent upon State or County guidance and requirements at that time. While it is disappointing that our graduates and staff cannot come together for a final event we want everyone to stay safe and look forward to an event later this year under better conditions.
