We would like to remind our school community that COVID-19 vaccines are available for anyone age 12 and older. This vaccine is not required for school participation in Newport-Mesa, although public health authorities encourage the vaccine as an additional layer of safety for children and schools. Parental consent is required, and people under 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian to receive the vaccine. Vaccines are available through medical providers, clinics, and local pharmacies.
