Newport-Mesa Community, We continue to monitor the air quality in our area, which has been impacted by the nearby wildfires. It is anticipated that air quality will continue to fluctuate depending on the winds but the forecast indicates the air quality will continue to improve each day. Beginning Thursday, October 29, all preschool programs, elementary schools and special education (SDC) students will resume hybrid in-person instruction on campus. Depending on the level of air quality each day, certain outdoor activity may be limited or eliminated. We will keep you updated on any changes and thank you for your understanding as we make adjustments to continue instruction while mitigating impacts of the wildfires.
