Today, the governor announced that with declining case rates and hospitalizations in California, the indoor face mask requirement for schools will move to strongly recommended on Saturday, March 12. Therefore, Newport-Mesa Unified School District (NMUSD) will no longer require face masks while indoors at schools effective Saturday, March 12, 2022.
