There is a for the Newport-Mesa Unified School District Board of Education to consider the delay of our secondary schools (grades 7-12) transition to hybrid in-person instruction through December 17, 2020 (end of first semester). If this delay is approved, Friday, October 9, 2020 will once again be a student instructional day. This change will not affect elementary schools, students currently receiving Special Day Class services (PK-12) or the Cloud Campus. A confirmation of this change will be sent on once the board takes action on this matter.
