Last night the Orange County Board of Education approved a white paper with alternative recommendations for reopening schools, which contradicts guidance provided by the . Regardless of this action, the OCDE Board’s recommendations are not binding to local school districts, such as NMUSD. Local school districts are each responsible for the approval and implementation of plans specific to their district. NMUSD has a scheduled today (July 14) at 6 pm to discuss and consider instructional models for reopening the 2020-2021 school year.
