Surf’s Up at The Wedge

The City of Newport Beach has prohibited surfing at the Wedge on Balboa Peninsula between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. and closed the adjacent beach area to discourage public gatherings at one of Newport Beach’s most popular surf spots.

Last Friday morning, NB Indy photographer Lawrence Sherwin went to The Wedge and took these photos of surfers–from a distance, of course.
