Update 2: Orange County COVID-19 Monitoring List Update

Distance Learning continues as we prepare for reopening schools in modified in-person instruction. While we monitor Orange County data during this 14-day period, district staff is diligently preparing for the reopening of our schools for modified in-person instruction. Knowing that all Orange County schools may be eligible to reopen after the 14-day period, the planning and preparation that began in June will not only continue but has now been elevated. Formal meetings with our employee associations have been ongoing and will continue specifically on the details of the return to in-person instruction. It is important to emphasize that while a date has not been set for reopening of our schools, the preparation and implementation of all systems related to the transition back to in-person instruction is underway. We all want our students back physically on campus with the safety protocols in place and look forward to the 14-day period to expire and reopening date to be set.
